Marshall Peron's 1956 F100
Marshall Peron (Chief Minister of Northern territory 1988-1995) dropped the car in for a tidy up and respray. However once it was sandblasted we had o replace the whole bottom inner and outer doors and the roof was extremely rusted out and had to have the rust cut out and re-welded.
The
decision was then made to pancake the bonnet 25mm which means to cut a 25mm
to nothing wedge horizontally and weld back together thus reducing the
height
of the raised centre section. The front air vent was also welded shut and
smoother over for a cleaner look.
A special airbrushed logo was also created and implemented on the tailgate grille and glovebox.
